    • Altitude & Fitness: This journey includes destinations above 3,400 m (Rúpac, Huancaya). A good fitness level is required for treks, especially the 3-hour hike to Rúpac.
    • Accommodation: Expect a mix of boutique hotels and a tented overnight camp at Rúpac for a unique adventure experience under the stars.
    • Weather & Packing: Prepare for varied climates—from coastal Lima to chilly Andean nights. Warm layers, trekking shoes, sunscreen, and rain protection are essential.
    • Cultural Depth: Caral and Peñico are archaeological sites with limited infrastructure, offering authenticity and a deep dive into Peru’s ancient civilizations.
