    Please note
      • We are located on the banks of the Amazon River, 80 km from the city of Iquitos in the community of Yanamono II zone.
      • We do not have air conditioning.
      • The order of the activities may vary according to weather conditions (low and high tide).
      • Food is not buffet - It is self-service.
      • All rooms are equipped with:  Ceiling fans, Panoramic windows and terrace overlooking the garden and Type A electrical outlets. 
      • COMMUNICATIONS: Internet at Heliconia Lodge. There is limited telephone coverage. 
      • Arrival flights must arrive before 8am for transportation 
      • Departure flights must be after 6pm to ensure there is enough time to travel to the airport from the lodge 
      • Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants 
      • Children 1 and younger are not allowed. Children 2-10 are allowed by paying and additional surcharge, please check before you go.
      • You will receive confirmation of your exact tour departure time when you call to confirm your reservation.

        Clothing & Footwear

        Lightweight, long-sleeved shirts & pants – Protection against sun and insects
        Comfortable hiking shoes or waterproof boots – Essential for jungle walks
        Sandals or flip-flops – For relaxing at the lodge
        Swimsuit – For swimming in the lodge’s pool or river
        Hat & sunglasses – Protection from the tropical sun
        Rain poncho or waterproof jacket – The rainforest can be unpredictable
